Pet Portraits
I have extensive experience in pet portraiture and these commissions remain one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I love working closely with clients to capture the character of their pet in gorgeous detail, creating a work of art which is an everlasting reminder of their precious pet.

I work in coloured pencil, using multiple layers, which gives incredible detail to the fur and features, as well as a fabulous depth of colour. Using one (or more) reference photos, we will work together to capture the perfect pose as well as all of the detail and character which makes your fur baby so unique.

Choose Your Photo
Strike a pose!
Or not... you may have the perfect picture of your pet for me to work from, a few photos you can't decide between or lots of photos that aren't quite right. I have extensive experience in working from all kinds of photos and can provide advice and guidance on what will (and will not) work. If necessary I can work from more than one image to get the best possible picture.
Agree specifics
Collaboration time!
One of the most rewarding parts of the process is working closely with you as the customer to design the perfect piece. Together we can agree the size, orientation, paper colour and surface to suit both the piece and your home decor.
We will also agree timescales... Note that commission slots are always limited and in demand. I anticipate a minimum 6 to 8 week turnaround.
Progress & Completion
The exciting bit!
As I work on your pet portrait I will send through (a minimum of three) high resolution scans of my work in progress. This will ensure that you are kept updated on progress and can provide feedback throughout. If you have any adjustments to make these can be incorporated (within reason) as I draw. Once the piece is complete a final scan will be provided and final tweaks can be made if necessary.

I am thrilled to now be offering Mini Pet Portraits, providing a more affordable option in my Pet Portrait range. Starting at just £75 for an A5 size, these are ideal as a thoughtful gift for the pet lover in your life, or if you have more than one pet that you would like to capture. With the same level of care and attention to detail that pride myself in with all of my work, this is an option which makes my work affordable to all pet owners. Mini Pet Portrait
Starting at £75 for an A5 size.
Coloured pencil on professional drawing paper.​
Depending on the pet and photograph I may advise to go slightly larger than A5 in which case I will provide a no obligation quote to do so.

WIP Updates
As the drawing progresses, I will send through 3-4 work in progress updates. This ensures that you are happy with progress and can get a glimpse into the artistic process as it progresses.

Photo Consultation
From a selection of pictures that you send to me, I will work with you to select the best pose for the pet portrait. I will also advise on size considerations and provide a mock up of the chosen photograph on the paper choice.

Signed & Sent
Once finished the portrait will be carefully packaged and sent via and agreed, tracked carrier service.

Paper Consultation
All portraits are drawn on professional drawing paper and a choice of colours including white, grey, a cool and a warm option are offered.
I will provide a mock up of the chosen photograph on the chosen paper, to assist in a final decision.
