Banbury & Villages Artweeks Trail

Writer: Louise BrookLouise Brook

It's HERE!

The countdown to Oxfordshire Artweeks is gathering momentum, with less than two months until I open my studio to visitors.

One of the main projects I have been involved in is the creation of a local trail map covering Banbury and the surrounding villages. This leaflet will provide visitors with a fantastic overview of the local artists in the area and ideas to get the most out of an arty day out... and I'm delighted to say that it is now ready!

Scroll through the brochure page by page in this blog, or use the button below to go to a "flipbook" version of the leaflet. Here you can simply select "PDF" in the top right hand corner to export the leaflet as a PDF document and save it for reference.

Physical copies of the local trail map and the full brochure will be available from early April. Look out for these appearing across Oxfordshire or drop me a message and I will arrange to get one to you!

Passion & Enthusiasm from Local Artists

The Banbury & Villages Artweeks Trail leaflet has been fully funded and coordinated by the local artists featured. It has been really heart warming to see how many artists have been keen to get involved, demonstrating their passion for our local arts scene, as well as their excitement and enthusiasm for the festival and to making it a success.

I took on the design role for the project (learning a lot about graphic design in the process!_ and particular mentions should also go to Cliff Kinch our local area coordinator, who has been instrumental in coordinating the artists for this project (venue 507, https://www.cliffkinchphotography.co.uk/) and Madeleine Allcock who has produced the fabulous map (venue 521,https://www.churchlanegallery.co.uk/).
