Note: Blog first published 29th May with Finalist News. Updated 3rd July with the final results of a Highly Commended Award.

FINALIST! SAA Artist of the Year

I am over the moon that my 2024 coastal inspired triptych "Surfacing" has received a Highly Commended Award, having reached the final of the 2024 Artists of the Year competition! My work was been selected from over 1900 entries as one of the Top 100 finalists, which is a huge honour; the further award of Highly Commended is the icing on the cake, and exceptional recognition for my artwork.

"Surfacing" will be featured in the Finalists exhibition at The Nottingham Society of Artists’ Gallery (Friar Lane, Nottingham) from the 1st - 6th October, 2024. There will be a dedicated Blog with further details of the exhibition itself nearer the time, and I can't wait to see my work displayed alongside the captivating works from the other 99 talented Finalists, as well as to exhibit in Nottingham for the first time!
